Always one of my favourite hotels, not very often I get to stay here, but when I do it always feels special and the experience is 5* Not so keen when you do dinners here as sometimes it can be a little warm, but in winter it's the perfect temperature for events and conferences
Great location for the races. Comfy beds and clean room. Breakfast is a must if you stay here

Nice business hotel with friendly staff and good facilities. I had room 102 which was comfortable and quiet. The restaurant was good for dinner in the evening service a little slow but very pleasant. The breakfast was very good for the price I was paying. Definitely one I'd go back to and well located near the Jesmond Metro stop.
Nice hotel with on-site parking. Staff were polite and friendly when checking in. The rooms are quite large and bright and they are air conditioned. The rooms also come with everything you should need including hairdryer, iron, kettle, toiletries and even bottled water. There are a couple of onsite restaurants, one of them is Italian the other is a bar & grill.
Ponteland Rd, Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne NE3 3HZ, UK – 028 4345 2800
Rock sold Novotel service. Not the latest and greatest facilities, but absolutely fine none the less. There is a swimming pool and small gym. Small restaurant and bar too. Worth noting that breakfast starts at 4.30, so consider a breakfast inclusive rate, even if you are leaving early. Really good value, especially of you book through the Accor website. All good, and would definitely stay again if we're about. Great stuff. Thanks!
Perfectly fine, though anonymous rooms. Our family room was very reasonable, though parking was extra. There is a nice little pool and sauna (and a gym I believe), which you don't often get in this sort of place. It is in a retail park, so while presumably convenient for the airport, it's not within walking distanced of many places to eat other than a Toby Carvery, which is not exactly top end, but is pretty cheap and fairly good to keep children entertained.

Polite staff that will let you try the guest ales before you go ahead with them. Menu is varied with excellent quality vegetarian options. Always a good atmosphere and the beer is always cold.
called in for burger deal from groupon(£10) I had 6oz chuck steak burger and my daughter in law chicken fillet, both fabulous and well worth a visit. Special mention to lady who served us who was friendly, helpful and pleasant! we visited 12.20 weds lunchtime. Will definitely return.

Food was amazing. We chose to have either 2 or 3 course special. Our waitress "Vaso" was very nice and professional and gave one of our guests some advice on wine choice, which turned out to be a good choice. Good value for money, service was excellent. Toilets were clean and tidy. Nice atmosphere, music in the background was at a nice level so chatting could still be heard without shouting. Definitely recommend it.
If this place hasn't been recently done up, it looks like it has. Tons of parking, plenty of out door seating and helpful and friendlt staff. Lovely little pub
Lonsdale Terrace, West Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 3HQ, UK – 0191 281 0039
Nice pub, think it has been upgraded pretty recently. Good choice of ales, lots of TV screens for sports and some pool tables. We were in on a night when there was football on and it got really busy so there was quite a long wait to get to the bar and you could hardly find a seat. At other times it is fine though.
A great place for a night out eating in nearby Brentwood Avenue. It's convenient for people meeting up from different places by metro and serves a good range of drinks.

Really personal and friendly service that made our family holiday experience. The cottage was fantastic and lots of thoughtful little extras we would never have expected.
Great service, friendliest staff that went out of their way to find me a great holiday! Will definitely use again :)

For the price, this is a nice little b and b. Stayed in single ensuite rooms. Bathrooms were a bit small but functional. Breakfast was very good, catering for vegetarians too. Proprietor was friendly, helpful and lovely. Car parking was no extra cost as hotel provides permits free for the duration of your stay. We stayed on a very hot weekend in July and the rooms were very hot, so I think a fan in the room would have been welcome, other than this I would stay again as it's very close to the city but not right in the centre so no problems with noise when sleeping.
We found The Avenue Hotel very nice and comfortable, room very clean and breakfast was really good cooked by hotel owner. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely use again Many thanks

I watched a TV programme this afternoon where an old chair was changed into a wonderful and colourful item of furniture which was bought by the Roseberry Hotel. I immediate thought that I would look up the hotel and found that I had a history from years earlier with the Crescent where it is situated. I have looked through all the information from my phone and I am absolutely in love with this hotel. The photographs show rooms so different from all the hotels in which I have stayed and I will be visiting there a.s.a.p I gave the hotel 5 stars because the visitors recently have said what a wonderful experience they have had staying there and who am I not to enjoy my visit also. I will renew this review when I return home. I can't wait.
Lovely boutique hotel, most comfortable bed ever with down feather duvet and pillows. Quirky designs and beautiful fabrics, definitely has the feminine touch. Staff were extremely helpful also and very pleasant. Complimentary drink on arrival was a lovely touch.

Love this place we booked it on a whim. Fantastic service rooms are beautiful. The 2 ladies who showed us to our room and advised us about booking in and out where so helpful and friendly. No issues at all will defiantly stay again.
Lovely place run by lovely ladies. Breakfast is filling and prompt, cooked options available. Bit sad I didn't get to pet the dogs!
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
